At Taghleefy, we recognize that packaging specifications, dielines and quotes are sensitive trade secrets. This document explains how we collect, secure and protect buyer and manufacturer data under our encryption and privacy standards.
Buyer Anonymity
Buyer phone numbers and company names are only shown to the manufacturer selected by the buyer.
Confidential Manufacturer Quotes
Quotes are kept in an isolated environment, so competing manufacturers cannot view each other’s prices.
Design File Security
Uploaded mockups and dielines are protected by encrypted, time-limited links available only to eligible manufacturers.
No Sale of Data
We commit not to share or sell customer or manufacturer databases to marketing organizations or external parties.
Data We Collect & How We Use It
The data collected by Taghleefy is limited to the information needed to operate industrial matching and sourcing between businesses and manufacturers:
- Buyer & Business Data: This includes name, email address, phone number, company name and the technical specification sheets created through the Specification Sheet Builder.
- Factory & Supplier Data: This includes business name, city and industrial area, primary manufacturing activity, product catalog and official verification documents (commercial registration and tax card) used to award the “Verified Supplier ✓”.
Privacy in Sourcing & Quote Requests
- Hiding Buyer Details in Public Sourcing Requests: When a specification sheet is posted as a public sourcing request, matching manufacturers only see technical specifications, quantity and delivery city. Buyer identity and contact details remain encrypted and hidden.
- Buyer Control over Sharing Contact Details: A buyer’s phone number or email address is not disclosed to a manufacturer until the buyer reviews the technical and financial quote and explicitly selects “Start Contact with This Factory” inside the Buyer Portal.
- WhatsApp Contact Records: When a buyer selects WhatsApp contact with a manufacturer, the system records that inquiry only in that manufacturer’s dashboard so the factory can assist the customer and follow up on the quote.
Design File (Dieline) & Official Document Security
- Encrypted Download Links: To prevent public circulation of your product designs, attachments and dielines are stored in protected locations. Active manufacturers receive encrypted, digitally signed download links that automatically expire after 30 minutes.
- Verification Document Confidentiality: Copies of commercial registrations and tax cards uploaded by manufacturers are kept solely for internal administrative review and are never published or made publicly available.
Cookies & Temporary Sessions
The platform uses lightweight technical cookies to improve browsing speed and experience without intrusive advertising tracking:
- Saving Guest Specification Sheets: If you create a specification sheet as a guest, the system temporarily retains your session so it can link the sheet to your account when you sign in, without losing your entries.
- Country & Currency Preferences: A dedicated technical cookie remembers your selected country (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE or all countries) and displays manufacturers and products relevant to your location.
- Wishlist: Cookies save products added to a buyer’s wishlist so they can return to them and compare them later.
Third-Party Services (Google OAuth & Payment Gateways)
- Google Registration & Sign-In: We offer one-click Google sign-in to help secure your account. When you use it, we receive only your name and verified email address from Google, with no access to your passwords.
- Manufacturer Online Payment Security: Payments for Growth or Enterprise subscriptions and product promotions are processed through licensed, secured payment gateways such as Kashier. Taghleefy does not store bank card numbers on its servers.
User Rights to Edit or Delete Data
- Managing Accounts & Specification Sheets: Buyers and manufacturers can edit their details, products and specifications at any time through the Buyer Portal or the Factory Dashboard.
- Requesting Account & Data Deletion: Any user may request permanent account closure and deletion of stored data by contacting us through the Contact Us page or our official email address info@taghleefy.com. The request will be processed within 48 business hours.
